Founder & Managing Partner
Ingeborg is a respected representative of the German economy and advocates for sustainability, women in leadership positions and her passion for promoting art. As the first woman to head the German textil+mode Association and as Vice President of the Federation of German Industries, she is committed to a sustainable economic system. As founder of Peppermint, she is an experienced investor and fund manager in the field of venture capital.
Marcus Baumbach
Managing Partner
Marcus is an experienced entrepreneur and advanced negotiator who started his career in controlling and finance with international industrial companies. As Managing Partner of Peppermint Group, he focuses on developing the group and its people and improving operational excellence. As a passionate jazz musician, his life is closely linked to culture.

How it all began.
1997
Founding of the Peppermint Group; this included the acquisition of spinning mill ZKS (yarn solutions since 1835), Jacquard weaving mill ERTEX (since 1883) and processing plant Color Textil.

Engagement with Venture Capital
since 2001
Since 2001 the acquisition of the ZKS spinning mill in Miletin, Czech Republic.
since 2005
Jacquard weaving mill Ertex International is founded in Romania.
2017
Major fire at the Color Textil printing and finishing plant in Frankenberg, business unit closed as a result of the fire.
2019
Jacquard weaving mill Ertex International: New building and thus second production site in Codlea, Romania.
2020
Merger of the food start-up TZAMPAS, founded in 2018, with ETHCL Food Labs and continuation of the TZAMPAS brand.
2020
The first Peppermint Venture Capital Fund was successfully closed and as part of the transaction Peppermint Holding took over the investments in BICO Group AB.
2021
After the first investment in authentic.network in 2019, Peppermint invests again in blockchain technology against product counterfeiting.
2022
Peppermint celebrates 25 years of success.
2023
Peppermint has acquired a majority stake in R3 Solutions, the expert in wireless machine communication.
