What it is about
Do you want to be responsible for inspecting produced fiber, yarn and textile surfaces? Here you can operate laboratory and measuring equipment, create recipes for finishing materials and apply textile-physical analysis methods. And finally, you evaluate the test results and set quality standards based on them.
An interest in physics, chemistry and mathematics is important for training as a textile laboratory technician.
For the training we are looking for students with
- a good secondary school diploma or high school diploma
- Understanding of chemistry, physics, mathematics and technology
- An observation accuracy
- A meticulous way of working

Location
Zwickauer Kammgarn GmbH is located at Schneeberger Straße 135 in Wilkau-Haßlau in the Silberstraße district, an idyllic town in the Zwickau district of Saxony. The company is conveniently located close to the A72 freeway and is therefore easy to reach. In addition, the plant site starts opposite the "Silberstraße" stop of the Deutsche Bahn, so that many employees arrive by public transport. We have flexibly adjusted the working hours to the Deutsche Bahn times.
The company premises are modern and well maintained. It includes production and storage halls as well as office buildings. Production is carried out at a high technical level by a motivated and qualified team. Many of our current managers have learned with us from the bottom up and are now master craftsmen or foremen.
All break rooms have been refurbished in the last two years. We provide drinks as well as fruit and vegetables to all employees free of charge.
